Hi Nik, I just downloaded your package and looked inside. Such a additional function sounds great for umbraco backoffice editors.
I did not jet dare to install if. In the comment is stated it requires modification of /umbraco/editContent.aspx file. But there is no modified file in the package ?!? Is it sufficient to include the ChangeForm.js script?
To answer your question, I am using this in production and it is stable. However, I am working on an updated version of this with more configurations and layout (jQuery UI etc.).
Hi Nik, your prompt "Update on Demand" works great here with IE7 and Umbraco 4.0.2.1. Tried to cheat the catch logic with IE but no luck, it's fool prove (e.g. fools like me)!
One point: Cause of you overwrite an umbraco core file with your package you should inform your package users for which umbraco versions it works. I diffed your editContent.aspx with the ones from 4.0.2.1 and 4.0.3 - and there it fits perfect. But for 4.1beta you should provide an other package version.
Basicly said to avoid this circumstances: - Your javascript should be the next cool feature for the upcoming umbraco 4.1 version!
thanks much for the feedback and also for pointing out the changes in 4.1. I will make sure to include that in the next release. I hope to have some time during the holidays to work on a "prettier" version of this.
Is is experimental or fit for production?

Hi Immo, my bad. I never added the file when I first created the package. I have uploaded a new version of the package now.
Thanks,
Nik
