PDF's not uploading properly after installing UmbSearch2

    Hi,

I have got an Umbraco V4.0.3 website and I need the ability to search the contents of PDF documents. I looked at UmbSearch2 and it looked perfect for the job. I installed it with no problems and also installed Adobe PDF IFilter 6.0 onto my webserver. I ran a couple of test searchs and everything seems fine. The problems seem to occur when I go to the media section and try and upload a PDF, I select create then select file then when I browse to my PDF to upload and click ok it just sits there with the little green bar at the botton of IE moving as if it is uploading then after a while just stops, there are no refreshs of the page (usually the page refreshs and shows you the link to the file in the media section) and there are no error messages and if I then click on the newly created file (on the left hand side) it appears to show the path to the uploaded PDF in the media section, if I click the link then it opens up the PDF I uploaded, if I then try and reference this file within the website and click on the link to it from the front end then it does not display the PDF. It is almost like it is not adding it to the database but is just adding it to the media folder (not sure where I would check this). Other files upload without any problems, i.e. if I try and upload a text document then the little green bar at the bottom of IE goes along then the page refreshs and shows the link to the file I have just uploaded. Also if I uninstall UmbSearch2 then PDF's start to upload normally again.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or know how I can fix it? Alternatively can anyone recommend another search package that will meet my needs (need to be able to search the contents of PDF's).
