Creating a main navigationa and a site wide navigation on same page

OK, so I have had success creating a main navigation. No problems--Thanks!!!!!!!

Now my question is, how cvan I create another set of navigation in my footer for site-wide links without affecting the other navigation.

    Man Navigation is:

    Home
    About Us
    Pension Plans
    --Pension Plan 1
    --Pension Plan 2

    etc.

Site wide nav is: Glossary of Terms | Contact Us | Sitemap |Disclaimer, etc.

I suspect I would just create two sets of navigation with unique names, but how do I tell one or the other to not show up in the other????

Any help is greatly appreciated. Surprised there isn't more info out there about this topic, seems like everyone would need it :)

    Hi Sunday

Welcome to the fun world of Umbraco development :-)

How did you create the main navigation? Is it based on XSLT or on Razor?

The concept should be pretty much the same if you for instance use the premade "Navigation prototype" snippet when you create an XSLT file. Here you can choose the level where the navigation should start for example.

Looking forward to hear more from you.

    /Jan

I used the Cogworks Flexible bnavigation package. I am by no means capable of writing my own stuff (designer--NOT developer) :) So if I have a code snippet I can insert it and follow directions, but have no idea how to use Razor :) **sheepish grin** begging for help :)

Do'h! I really need to pay attention to where posts are posted...did not notice you posted in the category for this package...ooops! :-)

Unfortunately I have not been playing around with the navigation package myself so I'm not able to help you out at the moment but perhaps I'll take a look at it if I find some time and provide you with an answer (If no one does this before me :-)).

    Cheers.

    /Jan
