    Umbraco 7

    Hi there,

Would someone be able to confirm for me if this works in Umbraco 7?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Wayferer

I'm not sure it's compatible with version 7 - I've seen someone not being able to get the sending of the e-mail to work due to having issues setting up the parameters for the macro.

I have not tried installing the package myself though but I think it's better to write your own form anyway if possible.

    /Jan

Thanks for the reply Jan. I'm not very good with .Net and was hoping to find a package like yours. Do you have any suggestions as where I can find a good tutorial?

    Hi Wayferer,

Sorry for the late answer. As Jan said the Cultiv Razor Contact Form is not compatible with version 7, as far as I remember is it written in the old legacy razor script, and therefor if you need to get it to work with Umbraco 7 you need to do some re-write of the code, and source code.

For a  tutorial to build a contact form you could try to see if this can help you http://www.aptitude.co.uk/videos/creating-a-contact-form-using-umbraco-mvc/

Alternatively you could consider using the Contour package, http://our.umbraco.org/projects/umbraco-pro/contour with this package your client gets the opportunity to create forms, by themselves. So your client can create as many forms their needs, and choose wiwhich fields the form should consist.

Here is a video about the Contour http://umbraco.com/products/more-add-ons/contour.aspx and here is the documentation about the Contour.http://our.umbraco.org/projects/umbraco-pro/contour/documentation

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

Yes, worked for me in Umbraco 7 (hosted on Azure using SendGrid to send emails).
