I was just contemplating how to get screen shots up into my Umbraco media section and I thought of this package. What'd be really awesome would be the ability to do screen grabs from this and have them auto upload ready to be inserted into rich text..
Other alternative is using live writer, but that really is a drag to set up when working on multiple content trees and despite hours sunk into that baby I still can't get it working satisfactorily...
Thanks for your suggestion and glad you are liking the package.
Not sure whether that feature will actually make it in though, as I think there are plenty of tools out there for taking screenshots so to add that functionality to DMU would only muddy it's purpose. I'm kean to keep DMU focused on the one task it excels at, and that is uploading media, uber simple.
Thanks for your input though, and I hope you continue to find DMU usefull.
While there are 100's of screenshot capturers around, none of them enable me go straight into the Umbraco media section :). When doing lots of screen shots for documentation purposes it's a huge time eater, so I guess just trying to find a quicker way.
I dig, time constraints and keeping things simple. I think at this stage the Livewriter route is going to have to be how I do it.
Suggestion
Hello there,

Anyway, just a thought :) One can dream :)
Thank you.
