Sorry if this has been covered (I've read the folders blog, this is different).  I have added a textstring field to my image media type for alt tag text.  If I upload viat the gui or api it enters a blank value for this field.  Using DMU, it is NULL.  I think is causing my issues with images 'disappearing' on my clients site
