One of my clients uses the DMU religiously, and he's just reported to me that after upgrading him to the latest version, it has begun renaming files upon uploading them. This seems to affect files with underscores in their name, and it's replacing the underscores with spaces. Typically he selects the "Overwrite existing" option, but I don't know if it affects files only when that's selected or if it's in all cases.
As DMU is now part of core, you may want to raise this issue on issues.umbraco.org instead. Having done a quick search though, I'm wondering whether these issues may be related.
