just a quick thought: as i understand it, admins can right click, select to delete and nodes protected with this package and not deleted, but the admin gets no message or explanation.
what would be great is if this could notify you of the protected status in a similar way to mat brailsford's 'page notifications' package:
The intention of this package is that user can't delete files, This happened a lot on a big project I was working on so that's why I've created the package. I assume Admins are a bit smarter so when they delete something it is on purpose :) But maybe this will be added to page-notifications?
