Where do I put this Macro?

I've installed the Eyecatch Rss Feed version 1.2 in my Umbraco 4.7 installation.

I've read the documentation and it just says install the package and it works. But it doesn't. If I add rssfeed.aspx to any of my pages it tries to create an rssfeed for me but the name of the feed is Nyheter RSS: Panorama Konferansehotell. And if I add the rss feed to my rss reader there are no items in the feed.

The documentation talks about setting the properties for documentType, title, depth, etc. But the only way I can find to set those properties is to add the macro to a template. So I tried adding it to my News Library Template. When I open my news page I've got a bunch of output from the macro on the news page that doesn't belong there.

Can you give me some better instructions on how to make this work? I'm pretty new to Umbraco but I can usually figure these things out. I have to admit I'm stumped as to how this is supposed to work.

    Thanks for your help.
