Sorry for the late reply. What to you mean by custom mediatype? Are you talking about files only being imported as "File"/"Image" or files only being imported as children of a "Folder" parent?
That is an interesting feature. We had someone else ask for better control over what file formats should map to the "Image" mediatype, so this is something I can't promise for now but that might be added in the future.
You add a dropdown setting in your datatype project which lists all mediatypes. On saving this mediatype would then be used as standard mediatype to upload to.
Can it only upload default 'image'-mediatype?
Hi,
I seem to not be able to let Gecko upload images in a custom mediatype.
Could this be a new setting on the gecko datatype?
Hope you can fix it.

Hi, thanks for replying.
O mean files being imported as 'image' mediatype
For example, I sometimes create new mediatypes which have more properties. I would like to set gecko to upload to those mediatypes.

Hi Emanuel,
I hope you'll add it soon.
I think it could be relatively easy like this:
You add a dropdown setting in your datatype project which lists all mediatypes. On saving this mediatype would then be used as standard mediatype to upload to.
Thanks for the great work on this project!
