Yes, that's a problem. When you try to uninstall something that has been added to the web.config the system tends to restart before the web.config has been been updated proerly and you get a duplicate entry. Sorry for the trouble.
I will be updating the installer to check for existing entries before making duplicate ones.
uninstall imagegen 2.5 will not remove something in web.config
<section name="ImageGenConfiguration" type="ImageGen.ImageGenConfigurationHandler,ImageGen" />
<ImageGenConfiguration configSource="config\ImageGen.config" />
after I unstall 2.5 and reinstall it, both two line are double line. this cause problems.

I think this is still not updated in Image generation. Faced the same problem.
