Error with remote paths, or rather how to enable debugging.
Hi,
Im having the weirdest problem. When using ImageGen with remote images i get a 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.' error. The funny thing is that it pretty much happened over night. ImageGen works with local images and i have the domain that i try to call in the whitelist in config.
Another funny thing is that it does work as expected in my colleagues enviroments (with the same exact project files etc.). I tried to remove the cache and repolulate, but Imagegen doesn't create any new cache files (duh?).
So.. I have a vauge memory of a query that enables extended debug information. However i cannot find any reference to it in the forum, nor in my mail etc.
No querystring for extended debugging I'm afraid. I would suspect a problem with the remote host you're getting the files from. Or, more likely perhaps, a local hosts file or DNS issue. Is there a delay of ~20sec before you get the error? If so, I'm even more convinced it's a routing issue to the source file on the remote host.

How do i enable debug mode?
Thank you!

Let me know.
cheers,
doug.
It is a DNS issue.
Now i feel stupid!
: )
No reason to feel silly -- I spent more than a day recently on exactly the same issue. ;)
Glad you've got it sorted out.

Oh, and please be sure to mark the answer for the next person.

Yeah, it turns out that when i upgraded my VMware Workstation (as of this morning) my NET is screwed.
Thanks a lot!
