Is there a best practice when using ImageGen in a load balanced environment?
In particular, I am thinking of the way that ImageGen saves the cached images inside the /media folder. Since we want to sync the media folder between the servers, we will probably run into some issues with the cache files being synced as well.
Any tips on this? Or any way to configure ImageGen to cache it's files somewhere else, so that each server is responsible for it's own cache?
ImageGen works great in load balanced scenarios but you do want each server to manage its own 'cached' folders. Just block those from being synced.
I've got more features coming in v3 that will make it even easier but a pesky bug that will require some serious rework is keeping v3 from beta for a few more months. Upgrades are always free, though.

cheers,

Ok, thanks Doug.
Will see if we can make an exception for "Cached" folders. What sync software do you normally use, and how are the exceptions set up?
