    ImageGen and RTE, can they be made to work together?

    As we know at the moment there's no way to use ImageGen in the RTE without using a macro.

    Just working on this and was thinking prehaps we could use events to swap out the images to all use ImageGen?

    • On RTE load event (or whatever specific event this is) swap out all RTE ImageGen links to be normal image links, therefore the user uses the normal RTE interface.
    • On Save or Publish swap all the links back to use ImageGen
    Has anyone looked into this, or is this logic flawed somehow?

    Didn't realise that TinyMCE actually resizes the image properly so no need for this in my case.

    Any luck with this as I was wanting to know if I could eaisily hook in seam carving to change the dimensions without distorting the aspect ratio.
