    Crop/Resize with rounded corners?

    This might be a future feature request: Is it possible to resize and then create rounded corners on the images?

    Hi Connie

    Search for rounded corners in the manual you can find here: http://our.umbraco.org/FileDownload?id=95

    I just checked to see if I could open the documentation for imageGen 2.5 on the percipientstudios site but I had no luck with that but I'm confident that the way to create rounded corners for the image is still the same.

    Is this what you're looking for or do I misunderstand your request? :-)

    /Jan

    @Connie - there is no built-in feature for rounded corners but if you want to do it just use an overlay image with rounded corners on it and you've got it solved. Ultimate flexibility that way without adding bloat to core ImageGen.

    @Jan - I didn't have any problem downloading the docs from my site. Can you email me details?

    cheers,
    doug.

    You can get your rounded corners using CSS3. Check out http://www.geraldinesummerfete.co.nz/ as an example of a site I have done using this. NB You will need a third party tool to make this work on non-compliant browsers (IE8 and below).

    Hi Doug

    I just tried to access the files again this evening - turns out I might have been a bit impatient yesterday. The PDF is loaded in my browser after a few seconds. Perhaps my internet was slow yesterday? :-)

    Nothing to worry about, just me being a bit fast. Sorry about that :-)

    @Connie and Paul

    If you choose to use Pauls suggestion I guess IE could be handled by using CSS3pie? (http://www.css3pie.com)

    /Jan
