I'm trying to get a watermark (overlay) onto an image. I have looked at the reference manual and as far as I can see the below URL looks like it should work:
Watermark/overlays require ImageGen Professional. Do you have a registration key for your domain, or are you running on localhost or a *.local domain?
You can check the status at www.your-domain-goes-here.com/imagegen.ashx?version
If you have the Professional features enabled, is there any way I can get a url to the site so I can investigate further? If you don't feel comfortable posting it publicly on the forum you could send it to me directly through my site at http://www.percipientstudios.com/about/contact.aspx
Thanks for the tips - I didn't realise it was part of the professional version. I'm not accessing it via localhost, I'v set up a testing domain in my hosts file which explains why the features wern't working during local development.
Overlay image not showing
Hi All!
I'm trying to get a watermark (overlay) onto an image. I have looked at the reference manual and as far as I can see the below URL looks like it should work:
http://umbraco.com/ImageGen.ashx?image=/media/253/reading.jpg&width=230&border=2&bordercolor=black&overlay=/media/442/film.png
If I navigate to either image path they come up so they are there, but the rendered image has no overlay.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
Max.
