I am using the free version 2.5.7 and a few questions are:
- is there any way to have expire headers for the resized image and what about the images that doesn't really need to be resized but do make a use of imagegen, do they also be able to have expire headeres
- are classes can be used with the free version, i assume yes! I've tried a scenario of having 3-4 different classes (all inherit things from the default one) some of them work while some other don't. Is there any trick that need to be aware of.
Same answer for expires headers... that's in there but it's a Professional feature.
Good news is that you can test the Pro features if you're running on localhost or any *.local domain (Pro features are always enabled there for dev/testing and if you like it you can they buy a key for your live domain).
ImageGen Professional is keyed to the domain of the site. If you get a key for 'example.com' you can install and use ImageGen Professional on every site, server, and development machine within that domain. Use it on www.example.com, blog.example.com, abc-corp.clients.example.com, etc. If you need multiple domains you can enjoy the buy-4-get-1-free deal or save even more with a reseller agreement (up to 85% discounts). Thank you Doug for the information,
what about if I have a multi lingual (many domains - one server) website, would it be ok with a single licence?
Cheers, Giorgos
