I think it's safe to assume it does not since the package has been marked as not working with 7.2 and since it's about 4 years old I guess it's fair enough :)
...Aaand I forgot to post a link to an article about how to build a language switcher - But it's right here http://24days.in/umbraco/2014/razor-language-switcher/ - I have been using this approach myself on a site recently and it works like a charm.
