I'm trying to get nForum 1.7 working on an Umbraco 6.1.3 site. It's not been without issues, I've solved the issue with already existing member types etc. and I think I'm pretty close to the goal.

But when I try to create a new topic it hangs with the "Creating your topic..." message. I know there's a similar topic already here, but this one is slightly different, as there's nothing posted. A reload of the page just returns to the editor, going to the category page no new topic has been added and in back office nothings added.

Tried adding the topic through back office and then add a post - same result, no post added, hangs with "Posting your reply..." same thing in Chrome, Firefox and IE.

When I click the create topic button, I get "ReferenceError: submittopic is not defined" on "nforumgeneral.js" (probably not relevant) - when I've clicked "Create topic" I get "[HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error 9ms]" on "/base/Solution/NewForumTopic/1777.aspx" (the category node)

When I click "Submit post" I get "[HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error 6ms]" on "/base/Solution/NewForumPost/1778.aspx" (topic node created through back office)

umbDebugShowTrace revealed nothing.

I CAN, however, edit a post. That part works fine, it seems.

Anyone have any kind of tip to pass on, so I can make it the last few inches? :) Nothing seems to be missing, scripts, css', templates, doc types, dll/xml's
