I'm currently just looking for either a v5 calendar or to port over an existing project to v5. I'm just looking for simple front-end event calendar functionality - one time event or recurring event that can just be created as a basic document type on the back end but populates a simple CSS calendar on the front end.
I'm not sure how this would be restricted by the lack of scheduled tasks but maybe that's a PD specific restriction.
No, I do not have a v5 version. Currently due to lack of time I haven't started on that. Besides that, the calendar is mostly based on xslt, which I doubt is really supported in v5, so at the moment I'm not sure wether I should even start converting it for v5.
Umbraco 5?
Do you have an Umbraco 5 release of this calendar? If not, is this open source? I'd love to convert this over to v5 if it is.
Thanks and great work
Zac
Currently there are no scheduled tasks in v5 yet, so this probably won't work: http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U5-123.
Are these recurring events for the frontend of the website? I'm working on something for the backend with "Content reminder / Advanced publishing": http://blog.digibiz.com/2012/4/23/introducing-ueasy.

Hi Zac,
to be short: no and no, sorry.
