    Calendar Start and End Date

    Hi,

I have installed the pdcalendar and I must say I love how easy it is to use!

I am customising the layout and have come across a small problem that I am wondering if anyone has a solution for?

Basically, I am wanting to display the start and end date of the event inside the calendar - so if the event is starting on 01/06/2013 and ending on 06/06/2013 the calendar will display the event name or even a coloured cell on each day the event is running.

I have searched for a solution online and spent a bit of time trying to figure out how to achieve this but I have had no success.

I hope my explanation makes sense and would appreciate any help or guidance on this issue.

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hi,

there seems to be confusion about the end-date.
Currently PDCalendar only allows events to take place on 1 day, multiple day-events are not supported.

The enddate is a date after which the event stops recurring.

Maybe you could add a new property to your documenttype to define the number of days the event lasts and use that to color the cells?

    Does this make sense?

    Hi Peter,

thank you for the quick response!

I understand what you are suggesting but I am new to umbraco development so do you have a sample of how this will work?
