    PDCalendar and Contour

I am currently thinking of attempting an implementation of:

    • Events nodes using the wonderful PDCalendar datatype,
    • Contour form for event submission using start and end datePickers,
    • Workflow type to publish the node on approval of submission (and map the dates to the PDCalendar property in said node)

Seems pretty straight fwd, but (alas) i think it may be an issue to populate the start & end dates (at very least) in the PDCalendar datatype through the workflow type.

Thoughts, or has anyone considered this or done something similar (Peter)?

    Thanks
    Josh

Although contour is great, this may actually be easier using Doc2Form.  You could create a form that automatically creates nodes of your correct documenttype (event) and the form would then "know" that the event needs date pickers for start and end dates.  It could also create the nodes in the correct location and all required fields etc will be managed by the document type itself.  Countour probably could do this without issue, but this kind of thing seems to be what Doc2Form was built for.

Well unfortunately it seems PDCalendar doesn't play ball with Doc2Form, so back to sq1.

    Any Ideas appreciated... Chrs!
