    PDF caching?

Is it possible to cache the pdf files? or would it be possible for future versions?

You could cache at a browse level by adding an expiry header to the response.

I don't have any immediate plans to implement disk caching though could give it some thought if you had a requirement.

not necissarily a requirement, but i was just wondering what the performance hit is for mulitple requests on the same node/nodes, etc. for a file that really is only changing when the nodes are published.

Like anything else - it depends on the load on the site i guess.
