Would it be possible to somehow count the height of something to automaticly add a page break so that an element does not get split in half?

BTW, would it be possible to use some kind of WYSIWYG editor for XSL FO like http://www.ecrion.com/Products/XFDesigner/Overview.aspx or http://www.java4less.com/fopdesigner/fodesigner.php ?
Or do you have any other recomendations?
I've never used a visual FO designer - I presume you could use either of those as long as you can access the FO source.
It looks like I can export the source to XSL-FO with XF Designer
