    Examples of multi page booklet functionality

    For our project, we need to generate a multi page PDF handbook (approx 40 pages) from Umbraco content nodes. Could you point me in the direction of example code to generate the following:

    • Multi page PDFs
    • Table of contents with page numbering
    • Widow and orphan control
    • Richtext to formatted PDF text

    Hi Sam,

    PDF Creator implements XSL FO - there are plenty of examples readily available online:

    e.g. http://www.xmlpdf.com/tableofcontents.html

    The out of the box example formats rich text to PDF so you can just look in there - this is also detailed in our product manual.

    Again window and orphan control would just be done with standard XSL FO: http://www.learn-xsl-fo-tutorial.com/Keeps-Orphans-Widows.cfm
