We have been trying out this package for Umb7 and it works really well out of the box. One question our client has is whether it is possible to preview content as a persona? I haven't seen any docs on this and TBH not even really sure how this would work but thought it was worth asking.
That would be a nice feature I agree, but I'm afraid it's not currently supported nor something I've really thought about implementing before.
Probably prohibitive if you are on Umbraco 7 but if you could upgrade you might find more sophisticated personalisation features in https://www.umarketingsuite.com/features/personalization/ (it looks like this supports preview).
That makes total sense to me, we have also been looking at uMarketingSuite upgrade for this particular project is not an option unfortunately. I suspect however we could provide our client a work around by defining a specific 'Preview' segment with a simple query string criteria and have them apply this segment to preview the changes. They could then apply the 'real' segment when they are ready.
Preview as a segment
Hi there,
