    Ecommerce integration

I see on the features page it says "Create your own booking payment statuses" but I presume that is a status an admin would go and update.

Would it be easy to integrate this with an ecommerce solution (such as Merchello or uCommerce) so that a customer could make a payment for a booking?

I guess what I am asking is their an API or a way we can update bookings from code.

    Hi Alex,

Exactly, a payment status is a status the administrator updates manually, let's say you run a hotel and when the booking is added the payment status is "New booking" and when the customer has arrived to the hotel the status is "Checked in" and when the customer leaves the status is "Payed" hopefully.

We're planning to extend uBooking with an API for the developers where they shall be able to manage their bookings, add, send mails, update a payment statuses and search for available resources.

We haven't had any plans of integrating it with Merchello or uCommerce yet but we do like the idea of it.

So.. what's the time frame, right now we're working on adding custom date time format support and that's completed probably in the end of next week. And then I think the API comes next.

Would you like to send an email to [email protected] and describe more detailed of what operations you would like to have. If you're really hungry on getting uBooking work with a eCommerce package we might be able to have you as a test person to speed things up. Just send us an email and we'll do what we can to help you.

    Have a nice weekend!
