Please can you create a Beta group for release so that you can give Partners and small selected set of customer a release of product at say Beta 2 stage before you go live. That way we can iron out some real world bugs before you reach a release stage. Would help with also people test addons i.e search for example before you hit production stage. Appericate this might delay release but i am sure of the partners who you have would happy to test a beta version once in a while and give you some feedback.

So people can download and use old packages should they need to, like you can do with Umbraco.
Versioning the DLLs
Currently for example Ucommerce.dll is version 1.0.0.0 for both Product and File versioning would be useful to make these reflect the release they are attached to so that you can check you have the right dlls in your Bin folder. Especially when you have upgrade process.
