    Custom Shipping Method

    HI

    I got a custom shipping service and I need to call this method and update the shipping cost when a user chose a particular shipping method.

    I am looking for an API solution rather than XSLT.

    During which event this custom shipping service got triggered?

    Your custom shipping method is automatically invoked in the basket pipeline if the shipment was created with a shipping method with your service associated. Please see Shipping Methods Explained and Building a Custom Shipping Method for more info.
