From install to finished shop - Instructional document/video
I know that during the Codegarden '10 presentation an improvement in documentation was briefly mentioned so I'd just like to say that the thing that's most missing for me at the moment is a developer's guide to building a working shop from install.
I've seen the uCommerce TV videos on installing uCommerce & the uCommerce sample shop which are very helpful but for someone like myself who has little experience dealing with commercial e-commerce packages (I've always built them bespoke from scratch) it can be a little confusing how all the different sections hang together and what their purpose is.
A walkthrough of the creation of a simple one or two product store that explained all the various nodes in the uCommerce section would be most helpful.
Thanks for the input. We've recently launched uCommerce.tv, but the content is sparse at the moment. The first episodes will be a walkthrough of the various foundations like I did with the Marketing Foundation Overview.
I'm thinking of adding one that dissects the uCommerce Demo Store as well.
