I saw that you now have the Free Edition. The page here http://www.ucommerce.dk/en/features/compare-starter-to-pro.aspx says that you can get started with the Free Edition. However my site displays the developer banner. How do I get a license for the free edition?
Will it be legal to use the free edition on a commercial client web site?
The short version is that if you include one of the following words “stage”, “staging”, or “preview” in your URL, the developer banner will be removed.
To get a licensed version running on production-environment (and URL) you should get a license for your specific website (i think it is a license-file bound for a specific URL). Contact Søren Spelling Lund from uCommerce to get your hands on one (Soren.Spelling.Lund at ucommerce.dk). Søren can help you about features and which version you need for your site. And yes: There is a "Free Edition" which is legal to use on commercial sites. The difference between the versions of uCommerce is about functionality and features.

Hi Justin
Regarding the developer banner and how to remove it, check this post out: http://www.publicvoid.dk/StagingSitesWithoutTheDeveloperEditionBanner.aspx
