    Annual cost

    Rather than a purchase price, you have an annual price specified - what do you get for paying an annual fee and what happens if you don't keep paying?

    Hi Gordon,

    The annual cost covers continued support and software assurance, i.e. free access to upgrades. If you don't renew the yearly subscription suppor and software assurance is lost. Whatever uCommerce version you're on will continue to function as before.

    You can repurchase support and software assurance or buy upgrades as you go along.

    Thanks for the clarification - unfortunately, for the "level" of customer I often work with, the annual cost would (probably) be a turn-off. However, knowing that it is not mandatory and that it can be purchased again at a later date is a positive selling point :-)

    Hi Gordon,

    Good to hear. We're introducing the uCommerce Gold Partner program today, which is basically an "All you can eat" model for Pro licenses including software assurance and support. It might be worth considering.
