    Moving product definitions etc to another server

    Hi,

    I am setting up my new store on my dev box.

    What is the best way to move everything "ucommerce" from one server to another as ucommerce is not picked up in packages etc...?

    Is it a case of copying a site and its datatabase in its enirety? If so i can see a few issues of these once it is running live.

    Ive googled about for an answer but cant find any specific info apart from uconnector which seems to be more data orientated i..e orders.

    Anyone?

    After delving into the database i see all the new properties and definitions etc.. Maybe some TSQL scripts could do the job also?

    Has anyone done this before? Surely there must be a way of moving from dev to staging and live?

    The appraoch you mention is the way to go. Currently you have to move the database to production or use a tool like Red-gate SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare to create change scripts to sync up dev and production.
