I have just launched a test website , and have used free version of ucommerce , i am getting the ucommerce developer edition banner on the top of my website http://www.teamlemon.co.uk/ , i read the documentation of removing the banner and didnt find a way to remove that , to get rid of banner , is it necessary to buy a loicense or do free version can be used on production site , if yes then how can i remove the banner , Also i cant find any license file in my root folder as suggested by other users on ucommerce forums.

In the umbraco logtable i can also see The uCommerce license file is either empty or missing error. anyone ??

You'll need a at least a Free license to run the site without the banner. You can get one of those from the uCommerce site.

It needs the domain name. If you're doing development/testing you don't need a license at all. It's only required when you want to launch your store.
