Could not determine the product catalog.

Hi and a happy new year to all that read this post :)

I wonder if someone could assist me please. I'm in the process of amending the Avenue clothing install to demo to my employers and I've suddenly starting getting the error when trying to click on any of the catalog links.

Could not determine the product catalog. (sorry it's such a long error message but that's what's in the Umbraco Logs, so I thought that I should post it all).

I did change the name of the catalog from Demo Store to something meaningful to our business but I've now changed it back. Is there something that I've missed doing? All of the other functionality appears to work as expected.

    Thanks in advance,

    Craig

    Hi Craig,

uCommerce tries to determine which catalog to use based on the site context. Renaming a catalog should not cause uCommerce to be unable to find it again.

Could you post the exact steps to reproduce the issue?

Also does changing the name back to the original fix the issue?

    Hi Soren,

On the demo store node of the uCommerce 'content' I changed the name from Demo Store to QLTS. And refreshed the pages, you can see that the URL that the catalog link has updated from demo-store to qlts but the catalog is now failing to load up (error in macro with the above going into the log files). Changing it back has had no effect. :(

    Any ideas?

    Hi Søren,

At the moment I can't actually do anything as our internal dev servers are being rebuilt!!! As soon as there back up I'll zip up the files and fire them over. I presume a db backup will be alright for ya?

    Craig
