On Friday I downloaed the development version to try out and ended up liking it so I installed the package on my staging site and requested a free license. After uploading the license I'm getting the banner about the Marketing Foundation not available with the current license. I'm not using the marketing foundation or anything else and just am looking to get the site up with simple cart functionality so is there is away to uninstall or turn off the marketing foundation to get rid of that message?

I believe uCommerce have some default values in marketing foundation you have to delete.
Go to the marketing foundation and delete all campaigns, that should do the trick.
That's exactly what it was.. I never even looked at that node so I hadn't realized there was something installed.
