We have been requested by the payment provider (SagePay) to authorise payments using 3D Secure where possible.
At present the HTTP POST to the payment gateway is either sending a flag Apply3DSecure set to 2 or the flag has not been set and SagePay is defaulting the flag to 2.
We need to change this flag to 0 so that 3D-Secure checks are made where possible.
Is it possible to change this flag ourselves? If not what is the workaround for this – would we need to setup a custom payment provider and build this ourselves?

If you are providing the flag as Apply3DSecure=2 you will need to change this setting within your cart settings.
