I have recently installed ucommerce in my web application along with the demo store. Everything installed perfectly well. However, I have noticed that when I load the site up, the default macroscripts are throwing errors:
I have seen this before in other ucommerce projects and the solution to this problem is to add a hostname to ucommerce. I have tried this and its still not working. All the rewrite paths look correct.
Just to note, this is the first time I have installed ucommerce under a web application.
When debugging the left navigation script, I am recieving the following error:
"ComponentActivator: could not proxy UCommerce.Catalog.CatalogLibraryInternal"
Try to look into the folder MacroScripts\uCommerce and open the LeftNavigation.cshtml. I know in earlier version of demostore it had a syntax error in that file which caused an error. I don't have a copy here right now but it should be easy for you to fix it since it is a missing space somewhere where a class is being set.
Edit:
Ignore the above I didn't see that a activator component failed. I will try to reproduce this later (unless someone has an answer before I do it ;) ) Which version do you use?
I have just tried to install the exactly same version of Umbraco, UCommerce and Razor store and it seems to work fine. The only thing I spotted was if I set hostname on product catalog group then some of the macros are failing. So if you have binded a hostname for a catalog group can you try to set it to Default?
I will try to look further into this to see if thats the same error that is thrown.
Installing uCommerce in a web application
Hi all,
I have recently installed ucommerce in my web application along with the demo store. Everything installed perfectly well. However, I have noticed that when I load the site up, the default macroscripts are throwing errors:
"Error loading MacroEngine script (file: uCommerce/LeftNavigation.cshtml)"
I have seen this before in other ucommerce projects and the solution to this problem is to add a hostname to ucommerce. I have tried this and its still not working. All the rewrite paths look correct.
Just to note, this is the first time I have installed ucommerce under a web application.
When debugging the left navigation script, I am recieving the following error:
"ComponentActivator: could not proxy UCommerce.Catalog.CatalogLibraryInternal"
Has anyone got any ideas on this?
Many thanks

Hi Martin,
Many thanks for your response.
We are using umbraco version 4.11.10 along with ucommerce version 4.0.3.13287.
The demo store version is 1.0.3.13124.
Thanks in advance!
