Moved UCommerce and getting "Version of log file is not compatible with Jet version" ?
I was getting this anaven files down like different OS's by the looks.
The easy fix is to delete the Ucommerce folder from App_Data\RavenDatabases and then recreate it. When you next save an item in UCommerce the database is regenerated.
Thanks for the insight Damian. A few person get this error when moving from one environment to another. I've done it several time with success, but i guess sometimes there's the little difference that shoots it down. I'm not sure what it is, but deleting it will work. Everything will be as before if you just run Scratch indexer under settings / search.
It when you move between different operating systems. Raven creates the files differently on each OS. One to be very wary off if the database was the main data store.
I believe there are tools to migrate however, but in this scenario you can just delete the files.
Well i've moved it between windows 8 and 8.1 and also windows 7 and windows 8, so there's more details to that. But exactly what that is, i do not know.

I went from Windows 8 to Windows Server 2008 R2 (i think - its a shared host).
Here is the tool i mentioned if you did need to move the data:
