I got a new license through on email from my request on saturday and this has sorted it!
I thought the license issue was automated so note to self to not try and get one on a weekend next time! :) I didnt realise the new version required a new license and in testing i was on a staging url so didnt spot the issue until i pushed it live.
License issue after upgrade to v4
I have upgraded a site from ucommerce v2.5 > v4 but cannot get rid of the developer edition banner.
I have removed the .lic, restarted, got write permissions, got a new lic created etc. but still getting the banner.
Do i need a new license for v4? I have requested a new one from the website to try but its not arrived yet.
Is the license generation automated (with it being the weekend) and do you think this is the issue?

The new v4 does require a new licens. The licens is manual generated (AFAIK), but you should get one today (monday), else try giving them a call.
Contact sales at ucommerce dot dk and they will help you out.
