    'Allow ordering'

    uCommerce Support

    What does the 'Allow ordering' checkbox mean/do on products? It doesn't seem to do what I think it does on my test setup or on demo.ucommerce.net.

    I'd say its some kind of a legacy field and some way not. It's a flag that you can observe to filter products away that aren't purchable. Our Api's doesn't do anything with it.

    You can remove a purchase button on product detail page or filter products away in category listing based on the flag. Otherwise there's no magic to it. Our demo store doesn't observe either.

    It's perfectly legit to use it though :)
