    Variants tab missing

    uCommerce Support

    I am sure this is going to be a stupid question but I am modifying/playing around with the demo store in V7 to try to understand it.

    I can't work out what triggers the existance of the "variants" tab.The clothing store had variants but my new product structure doesn't and all my new products have no "variants" tab on the products pages. Is it a definitions thing?

    Hi Alan

    You are on the right track! You need to add a definitionField with the checkmark in "variant property" so the variants you create have a unique parameter on them .

    This will enable you to create variants on the product family :-)
