    Ammount off in different currencies

    Hi.

Right now, when we are setting up a discount campaign, we could specify an "ammount off" in the Reward part of the promo.

The ammount is deducted in the same form for any currency. We need a way to specify an ammount off for pounds and a different ammount for euros.

    How can this be accomplished?

    Regards,

    Max

    Hi Max

You need to add a pricegroup target to the "act" part of the campaignItem to allowed the campaignItem to only target the wanted currency. This however means you need a campaignItem per currency / pricegroup.

Hi. We actually need this different currency reward for promocode trigger. Is there any way I could have the same promocode trigger different discount ammount in the different currencies?

    Max,

I guess you would have to setup an item per currency (pricegroup) and give the award base on that. So 1 campaign item per discount type. Does this make sence ?

    Morten,

Thanks, but lets say I've created a promocode "Welcome" and used a pricegroup of EUR for it. Set up a reward ammount of 20 (EUR).

Then, I'd like people shopping with GBP, to have a discount of 15 GBP, but with the same promocode "Welcome". I can't add another campaign item with the GBP pricegroup and the same promocode, since it will tell us that it already exists.

Do you understand what I mean? =)

    Hello,

    Tricky!

One option could be to use a custom property target, instead of an actual promocode target?!

So when the user adds the promocode, it is not added as a promocode, but as a custom property.

The downside is that there is no check for the max uses of the code. So potentially customers can use the code multiple times.

In that case, you might have to code some handling of these scenarios?!

    Kind regards,

    Jesper
