    Export products from old version to new version of umbraco and Ucommerce

    Hi

    I'm working on a redign of an shop which uses umbraco 4.9 and the free uCommerce version: uCommerce Store 1.2.0.0 and uCommerce 2.6.1.0.

    Does anyone know if it's possible to copy or export all the products and their proberties/details to either umbraco 6 or 7 and the corresponding versions of free uCommerce ?

    Or am I stuck in the old version ?

    ( The shop has around 1000 products )

    Hi Jesper, 

    That's a tough one :)

    I think the easiest way would be to just install the newest version and then port data using sql server scripts. 

    You need to go through the various breaking changes in the release notes to see what affects your various macro's.:

    It sound like the best is to keep the shop in the old version and live with less functionalities.
