Im working on a shop that has 4 languages, one of which has a different product catalogue.
My problem is that when you have set up a language in umbraco, all categories and products will require mandatory information for each language set up in the system. This is bad for me because i have one product catalogue that is in one language only, but will require information for 3 additional languages.
Does anyone have a solution for this? Maybe i am missing a setting somewhere...?
This is by design so there's currently no way around it.
A workaround would be to edit the admin html for editing products and disable the required field validators to make editing products easier.
We have given some thought to making languages configurable in uCommerce instead of just drawing upon the Umbraco settings. You're veru welcome to suggest it as a feature on our UserVoice. If it gets enough votes we'll go ahead and implement it for you.

Frej suggested the feature at our UserVoice. If you feel it's a good idea to implement this please votes for at.
