is there any news yet on an editable version? Would be nice to be able to provide some translations (like with v4 which was translated in a bunch of languages).
Thank you. I don't think it makes sense to edit this as an illustrator file. A developer is in the most cases the one who has to write the documentation and...i don't know a lot developers owning an InDesign license. :-)
I'll see with Matt if we can work something out in order to got this more maintainable.
Yes that's the plan. In hindsight Illustrator wasn't the best choice for sharing and colloboration. Hoping to get it into something more suitable next year when we ahve a bit more time.

It´s an InDesign file, and if you write to Matt Wootton http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/umbraco-7-editors-manual/feedback/55582-Awesome-work! you should be able to get a copy of the file, so you can do your own the translations.
