UnVersion was such a boon as it addressed one of Umbraco's Achilles heels. The fact that it's on-disk footprint gets bloated over time, particularly on a frequently edited site or one that updates content over an API. If UnVersion could be combined with something that allowed media to be cleared from disk when the Media recycle bin was emptied, I'd very happily pay (a reasonable fee) for it ;)
Unfortunately money isn't the issue, it's time. If someone wants to take this project over and push it forward I'd be more than happy to hand over the reins 👍
I've transferred the github repo, and the Our package is also under your name and you should also have an invite on NuGet.org to be an owner of the nuget package.
Might be some settings that need updating in the build script and possibly a DI config might want setting up (maybe I have an AppVayor config? 🤔)
Thanks Soren and Nik for carrying on the torch 👏👏👏
Will there be a UnVersion for Umbraco 8
Hi Matt.
Will there be an UnVersion for Umbraco 8?
Hi Bo,
It's not high on my priority list. Happy to accept a PR if someone wants to work on it but I have nothing planned myself.
Matt

I'm up for it :)
I'll help, got some ideas for potential improvements/changes :-D
Cool, would you and Soren like to discuss it and choose a lead on the project and I'll happily transfer the repo / our project over 👍
Hi Matt - I'll take the lead :)
I just deleted my own fork - so you should be able to transfer now
Great stuff,

This is fantastic. Thanks Søren, Nik and Matt :)
Happy to help on the UI side of things if anyone is interested. This package was one of my default installs for every project.
I think we have a working version for V8 created in a fork somewhere. Not sure why this was not merged. Let me have a look tomorrow :)
Edit, here it is :) https://github.com/skttl/umbraco-unversion/pull/21
