    Database size doesn't change?

    I have used unversion on pretty much every node in my site, limiting every node to 5 versions.

    However, I don't see ANY change at all in the size of the database.

    Am I doing something wrong ?

    Have you republished each node? UnVersion only clears up the history after a given page is published, so it's more of an ongoing maintenance helper, then a one hit solution.

    Yes I republished each node and limited every version history to 5 versions, but it didn't have any effect on the db size....

    And when you look in the rollback dropdown for a node it's only showing 5 versions?

    I could imagine that your log file might stay quite large, but the DB itself should come down I would have thought.

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks for the plugin. I am having the same problem.

    I just installed UnVersion 1.5, and set unVersion.config as follows:

    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <unVersionConfig>
      <add maxDays="365" maxCount="5" />
    </unVersionConfig>

    As I published a node, it deletes history older than a year, but it still keeps about 20 records in there. So maxDays works, but maxCount doesn't.

    My Umbraco version is probably 4.7 (how do you tell?)
