Thanks a load for creating this package. It seems to do the trick for my immediate needs. I'm going with a macro RTE insert, as it allows my users to add important parameters such as height and width when embeddingYouTube URLs in the RTE.
I have a couple of questions and a request/suggestion. When adding a Single Video Picker property to a docType the URL in the textfield becomes decapitated upon saving: it changed from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSV9L3VsY3s to CSV9L3VsY3s. Is the intention that users can add a full URL here, with a template field passing the URL?
Also, when trying to remove some parameters from the classic player macro, these keep appearing in the macro editer upon embedding in the RTE. Am I missing a step here?
My request is a constrain proportions checkbox parameter, so users can resize upon insertion. I've looked at other plugins besides yours, and no one seem to offer this. Maybe you could be the first kid on the block ;-)
The Single Video Picker data-type attempts to only store the YouTube's video Id (not the full URL). From this you can use one of the macros provided to pass over the video ID.
As for the extra macro parameters in the RTE - not entirely sure... must admit that I haven't tried/tested it via the RTE (generally use them direct in the templates).
