    Vendr in umbraco 8

When, do you think we can start using vendr as a package or a nuget integration in umbraco v.8. I'm very exiting about this commerce solution :)

    Hi Tor,

The official release will be late March next year and this is when Nuget packages will be available to install.

There is still a lot for us to implement, including all the documentation so it didn't make sense for us to release them standalone as NuGet packages just yet as we'd get nothing but questions on how to do things 😁

    Hey Tor,

Just to let you know we released Vendr today (see http://vendr.net/) which includes nuget packages.

    PM> Install-Package Vendr

    Many thanks

    Hi Matt,

Have you got any documentation for Vendr yet? I am keen to have a look.

Do you have any install guide?

Should we be installing the Nuget package on the top of the Umbraco web project or should we be pulling this out into it's own separate project like we do with the Umbraco.Core?

    What's the recommended setup?

    Thanks in advanced

    David

    Hi David,

Sure, our docs are at https://vendr.net/docs/ on there should be a getting started guide to get you installed including the initial requirements.

Essentially you'll want an Umbraco site setup, then install Vendr either via nuget or Umbraco package on top.

    Many thanks

    Matt
